Donald “Don or Donnie” Lee Ward passed away peacefully at his Denver home on August 2, 2019 at the age of 82. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He is preceded by his wife Janice D. Ward, son Randall D. Ward, and brother Mike Ward. He’s survived by his two daughters, Terri Ward Miller (Russell) of Sparks, NE and Jennifer Villanueva (Derek) of Parker, CO. Don had five grandchildren: Paul, Randi, Kyle, Evan, and Sydny and two great grandchildren: Montana and Axel. Brothers Frank Ward and Joe Ward, Brother-in-Law to Joe Childs. Don is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Don graduated from the school of hard knocks and had a lot of fun doing it. Don was the CEO of Don Ward & Company Trucking and retired in 2003. He lived life to the fullest. He loved to hunt, fish and travel. Most of all, he loved his family and was the proudest father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He truly will be missed by all!!!
