Donald Lee Stewart, son of the late Duane Harrison and Glo’dean Stewart Vass was born November 30, 1951, in Indianapolis, IN. At a young age he accepted Christ into his life. He attended Indianapolis Public Schools and was a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School. He joined the United States Army immediately following.
On September 11, 2016, Donald was united in holy matrimony to Kathryn Bacon Stewart which he leaves in great sadness.
Donald loved life and enjoyed helping others. His favorite saying was “Weeping May Endure for a Night, but Joy Comes in the Morning!” If he had one more thing to say – that could make you smile – he would say “This Is Rubber Ducky Signing Off!”
Donald’s life will forever be cherished and missed in the lives of his family and friends. He leaves behind his children: Donald L Stewart Jr., Venson Stewart (Shaina), Tyrone Woods, Clayton Jones (Telaithia), Shamari Stewart, Stephanie Stewart, Nicole Robinson, and Lamont Stewart. His siblings: Ricky Benson, Dwight Moore (deceased), Leta Harrison, Renee Harrison, Terri Fields, and Patricia Denning. Donald had 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Also, his beloved host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will all miss him.
