Donald Lee Richards, age 62, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 1, 1953 in Harrison County, WV; the son of the late Burl Richards and Lovie V. (Cross) Richards.
Donald is survived by his wife 44 years, Patricia A. (Blake) Richards of Clarksburg, WV; a son, Donald L. Richards, Jr. of Clarksburg, WV; two daughters, Patricia Ann (Richards) Ice & her husband, Clyde of Stealey and Brenda Snyder & her husband, Kevin of Summit Park; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Clyde Richards of Bridgeport, WV; sister, Virginia Devericks of Parkersburg, WV; three uncles, George Cross & his wife, Joyce of Stonewood, Charles Cross & his wife, Shirley of Eastview and Robert Richards of Eastview; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth Ray Richards, Burl Wayne Richards, Edward Richards and Charles Richards.
Donald retired from City Parks of Clarksburg after 23 years. He enjoyed going hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Midway Apostolic Church.
