Donald Lee McMeans, 76, of Jacksonville, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born April 11, 1933, in Jacksonville, the son of Leo Francis and Lela Mae Hegener McMeans. He is survived by three sons and one daughter, Terry Lee McMeans of Myrtle Beach, SC, Timothy Lynn McMeans of Arcadia, WI, Donald Joseph McMeans of Longmont, CO, and Deborah (Philip) Darling of North Dallas, TX; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl (Barb) McMeans of Jacksonville and Jim McMeans of Naples; and one sister, Mary Allen of Decatur. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence McMeans.
Mr. McMeans was a supervisor at Mobil Chemical in Jacksonville for over 25 years, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
