Donald Lawlin, 85, of Camp Verde, Arizona, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, August 7, 2017. Don was born in Chicago, IL on February 27, 1932, to the late Ted Clark and Sigrid Lawlin. Don joined the Navy May 27, 1952 and was honorably discharged on May 23, 1956. Don enjoyed studying the Bible, reading newspapers and periodicals, and hiking with local hiking groups. Don married Alice Kauffman on Feb 9, 1957 and settled in Sciota, Pennsylvania as their home during his employment with Metropolitan Edison public utilities Company from 1957 till his retirement in Dec 1989. Don is survived by his wife Alice and their children, David, Cheryl, Debbie, Beth, 18 grand children, and 14 great grandchildren.
