DONALD L. SIMPSON
Donald L. Simpson, 72, of Cedar Dunes Drive, New Smyrna Beach died November 5th, at his residence.
Mr. Simpson was born in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. He resided in Fairmount, Indiana for over twenty-five years before moving to Florida in 1988 following his retirement from General Motors in 1986 after thirty-two years. Donald served in the U.S. Army 138th Armor Corps, being called to active duty during the Berlin Build-up in 1960. Don will be sadly missed by the special veterans who met daily for coffee.
He is survived by his wife, Judith, and would have celebrated fifty years of marriage on December 1st. Also surviving are his brothers Dale and wife Suzanne of Lafayette, IN, David and wife Janice of Fairmount, IN, Gerald and wife Sue of Marion, IN; sister Mary L. and husband Brad Shrock of Greentown, IN, and numerous nieces and nephews.
