Donald L. Miller, 67, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL died July 29, 2015
He was born August 29, 1947 and was raised in Hazlehurst, MS. He was the son of the late Richmond and Elsie Miller.
Don is survived by his brother, J. Brooks (Marsha) Miller Sr; three nephews and 1 beloved niece in Texas.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard W. Miller and half-brother, Richmond Miller () test pilot for the SR 71.
Don’s ancestors included John Witherspoon, the only clergyman to sign the Declaration of Independence and Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland from the McGinnis Cla. (Elsie Miller)
Don attended USM. While there he was a Golden Glove Amateur Boxer. He graduated from University of Miami with a degree in Marketing. While in Miami he worked for the Richard Nixon 1972 reelection campaign.
Don served his country proudly in the US Army.
Don aka “Cat” will be remembered for his generosity and heart of gold and will be dearly missed by many. Don will be interred in Hazlehurst, MS.
