Donald L. Humbert, Sr., 84, of Alexandria passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011, suddenly at his residence. He was born September 14, 1927 in Muncie to Herschel and Eunice (Jones) Humbert. He attended Muncie Community Schools. Donald Sr. worked at Coca-Cola as a tow motor operator. He proudly served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his son Donald L. Humbert, Jr. (wife-Diane); Gaston, sister Jerri Alexander; Muncie, grandchildren Eric Elenburg; Muncie, Jason Elenburg; Fishers, Brandon Humbert; Indianapolis, Ryan Humbert (wife-Samantha); Gaston, great-grandchild Luke Humbert.
Donald Sr., was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Betty Jean Humbert; daughter Ginger Elenburg; two brothers Ray and Myron Humbert; sisters Mona Eustler and Virginia Morgan.
Military rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.
