Donald L. Gernand, 86, of Anderson, passed away on May 17, 2020 at his home.
He was born on September 8, 1933 in Oneida, Kansas. Donald graduated from Markleville High School, Class of 1951. He retired in 1998 from Guide Lamp division of General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a member of UAW.
Donald is survived by his wife, Bonnie E. Gernand; children, Tim (Debbie) Gernand, Ted (Cindy) Gernand, Dan (DeeAnn) Gernand, Don (Sandy) Gernand; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Gernand; daughter, Julie D Gernand; siblings, Orville Gernand, Kenneth Gernand, Avis M. Edens, Donna Keller.
