Donald LeRoy Drake, of Littleton, Colorado, was born in Kellogg, Iowa, on June 6, 1922. Don grew up in Newton, Iowa. He served in the Army Air Corps during the Second World War as a B-24 bombardier. He graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Engineering. He moved with his family to Littleton in 1959 where he was employed by Marin Marietta until he retired in 1984. Don was preceded in death by Marie his beloved wife of 69 years in 2011. He is survived by his son Fred (Pam) Drake of Cheyenne Wyoming ; Son Dan Drake of Denver; Daughter Donna (Dan) Judish of Littleton and Roseanne (Chuck) Thenell of Littleton. He was also blessed with eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
