Donald K. Corning, 83, a resident of Rensselaer, IN passed away on August 16, 2021, in Lafayette. Don was born in Lowell, IN on September 25, 1937, the son of Boyd and Laura (Herron) Corning. Don attended Lowell High School. He was co-production manager at White/Avery Graphics from 1958-to 1992. He started his own business, Image Improvement, and later worked for Jarrette Investigations as a security guard at the Newton County Landfill. Don married the love of his life, Jacquelyn L. White on June 4, 1977, in Lowell, IN and she survives. Don enjoyed painting oil colors, and fishing, and once loved line dancing. He was an active member of Mt. Ayr United Methodist Church. He loved volunteering with the church mission team at Henderson Settlement in KY. He was the official coffee maker for all events. “The Coffee Man” will be missed by all.

Don is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn; children, Kent (Johni) Corning of Lake Village, IN; James (Joy) Corning of Brook, IN; Jeff (Anna) Corning of Lake Village, IN; Daniel (Donna) Corning of Roselawn, IN; Jerry (Ginger) Templeton of Westerville, OH; April (Dave) Benn of Bennett, CO; Donald (Lisa) Templeton of Raleigh, NC; Troy (Kris) Stone of LaPorte, IN, and like-a-daughter Bonnie (Nick) Denny, of Morocco, IN; 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sibling, Katherine (Robert) Schaefer of Teft, IN.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
