Don died peacefully after a short illness on June 16, 2012 with his family by his side. He is survived by wife Carol, daughter Terry, sons Mike (Suzie), Tom (Lorri), Rick (Karen) and grandsons Marc, Nick, Vince, Kevin and Riley. Born March 27, 1928 in Holley, NY, Don served his country in Japan before embarking on a long and notable career as an aerospace engineer, retiring from Martin Marietta Corp. in 1987. A private family ceremony is planned to celebrate his life.
