Donald John White, age 64, of Longville, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world from the Miller Dwan Hospital in Duluth, MN on Saturday, October 9th, 2021. He was born to Zora (Bird) and Donald White on March 19th, 1957, in Bemidji, MN
Donald White was the type of man who appreciated everything he had, it didn’t have to be the big things, the little things as well. He was willing to help his fellow brothers and sisters out when needed, whether it was to help place a roof over their heads, feed their children or make a surprise superhero calls. He enjoyed being a mechanic as he did most of his work for fun. He took the time out of his day to spend with his family when they stopped over. Donald communicated well and used it to tell many stories and teach everyone he met. He took pride in his work, his home, as well as his children and grandchildren. He was what we called a superhuman. He was our super human.
He would walk for miles to visit many friends and neighbors. Although he had one leg he would trek as far as 10 miles a day. Nothing stopped him. He was proud of the steps he would take, although it was hard for him to show off his achievements. His children included. He took pride in them, no matter where they were, he spoke highly of them. His grandchildren especially. He was in love with the number of grandchildren he had and tried everything to give them what they want. He enjoyed listening to music in the morning while sipping his hot coffee and dancing to classic rock while making fun of the lyrics.
He would make us younger kids laugh growing up, as making jokes, and laughing were a few of his favorite things. He had a laugh that we will remember for the rest of our lives. He is going to be greatly missed not just by his family, but by his friends and those who crossed his path.
Family that welcomes Donald to the spirit world are his parents; Zora and Donald, brother; John White, sisters; Louisa White and Sharon St. John, good friend; Guy Greene, her grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those left behind to forever cherish his memory are his sons; James Sr., Michael, Joseph, and Brandon White, daughters; Brandi White-Dragan and Danielle White, brothers; Calvin and Robert White, sisters; April Greene and Melody White, numerous other relatives, and many friends.
