Donald James ShortAge 57 of Corunna passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at his residence.A funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday, June 10, 2019, at the United Pentecostal Church of Owosso, 1425 N. Hickory Street with Pastor Joey McKinnies officiating. Burial will follow at Hawkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday prior to the service from 12 PM to 2 PM.Donald was the son of Richard Short and Delois Ibarra born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 30, 1961. Donald lost his father in an accident and was raised by his mother and step-father, Joseph Ibarra.He married Debra Pugh on March 2, 2002 in Owosso.Donald attended Durand Public Schools and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Owosso. He owned and operated True Step Painting. He loved to sing Elvis tunes.Donald is survived by Wife, Debra; daughters, Bonnie (Adam) Nolen, Joanna (Jim) Rust, Ashley Haddix, Jamie Short, Angel (John) West, Desirea (Michael) Mandeville; sons, Jacob Mason, Dustin Mason and Adam Miller; grandchildren, Alyssa, Alyson, Alex, Charlie, William, Andrew, Justin, Zariah, Michael, Sophia, Kendra, Danica, Carter, Kameron; brother, Joseph (Erin) Ibarra; sister, LaDonna Shrum; nephew, Brandon Badder and niece, Rebecca Ibarra.He was predeceased by his parents and his son, Andrew James Short.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
