Donald Jack McNeal, 73, Anderson, passed away September 9, 2009 at his residence after an exended illness. He was born June 26, 1936 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of his life.
Donald had been a pipefitter at Guide Division of General Motors for 25 years, retiring in 1996. He was formerly a volunteer firefighter and reserve police officer in Chesterfield. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Nelson McNeal of Anderson; children, Donald Linda McNeal of Rochester, Steven Cindy McNeal of Kokomo, Russell Jeanetta McNeal of Chesterfield; Joyce Richmond of Tampa, Florida and Diana McNeal of Anderson; step-children, Mary Larry Higgins of Pendleton and Leroy Lowe of Arkansas; siblings, Marilyn Bonney Shirley of Chesterfield, Judy Derexson, Fred Carol McNeal of Anderson and Michael Velma McNeal of Anderson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Doris Lasley McNeal; brother-in-law, Paul Derexson and step-son, Jamie Higgins .
