Donald J. Igoe passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 8th in Plymouth. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 18, 1935, he was the son of the late Robert and Ida (Dunn) Igoe. He grew up in Roxbury, was a graduate of Boston English High School and later attended Newbury Prep. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Upon his return he was employed with the Boston Edison company where he worked for over 27 years. Donald was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his yearly hunting trips to “Winchendon” Royalston, MA with family and life-long friends. He also enjoyed fishing and carpentry and was known to be a handyman; always willing to lend a helping hand. His greatest joy in life was time spent with his family. He is survived by the love of his life Patricia Shea of Plymouth. Donald was the devoted father to Donald and his wife Amelia Igoe of Framingham, Keith Igoe of Colorado, Paul and his wife Paula Igoe of Durham, N.H. and his daughter Kim and her husband Andrew Kasper of Walpole. He was the cherished grandfather of Kristin and her husband Nicholas Guarino, Rachel, Joseph, Sofia, Emma, John, Paul, Kayli, and Hannah Igoe, Meghan, Andrew and Aaron Kasper. He was a great grandfather to Cash, Gage and Crew Guarino. He was the brother of the late Mary (Dare), Robert, Elizabeth, John and Ann (Gorenflo) Igoe. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
