Drescher, Sr. 79, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Middlesex Memorial Hospital in Middletown, CT with family and loved ones by his side. He was born in Norwich on July 28, 1932 son of the late Henry and Eva (Benoit) Drescher. Donald served his country honorably in the United States Army serving in both the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring after 28 years.
