He was born on March 4, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryce and Minnie Gambrell; brothers, James Bryce Gambrell and Jerry Wayne Gambrell; sisters, Betty Sue Short and Doris Anne Burton; brothers in law, Guy Short and Branch Burton. He is survived by his sister, Mollye Lou Gambrell of Dalton; brother in law, James Burton of South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Judy Woodard, Jerry Gambrell, Rhonda Short, Donna Gambrell, Elizabeth Burton, Brian Gambrell.
