Donald G. Snapp, 68, of Oaklandon, passed away on August 16, 2013, at his home.
He was born April 20, 1945, in Indianapolis to the late Wayne and Verna (Baker) Snapp.
He was a 1965 graduate of Lawrence Central High School where he played football and was Indiana State Wrestling Champion in 1961. Don was a concrete finisher for Local 692 Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by loving companion Resa Smith of Oaklandon, sister: Sharon Harrison of Greenfield; brother: Jerry Snapp of IL; several nieces and nephews; adopted family: Andrew and Tracie Smith of Southport and Christopher Smith of Indianapolis; grandson: Austin Smith; granddaughters: Ashley Hollon and Dakota Smith.
Don was preceded in death by his brother Robert “Bobby” Snapp.
