Donald F. Novack, 90, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his home in good company.  A special thank you to Susan and Jere Turbin for being with him and taking such good care of him.

He was born on November 21, 1930, in Wisconsin Rapids to John and Nettie (Klug) Novack.  He was married to Margaret Jacoby on August 8, 1953, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. 

Donald then worked for Consolidated Papers, Inc., from 1955 until his retirement in 1993.   He worked at the Paperboard Products Division as a painter.

Upon retiring from Consolidated, he made several trips to Chicago and Minnesota to deliver autos for local dealers.  He loved listening to polka and country music.  He was a singer as well and had such a beautiful voice.  He loved to read, doing crossword puzzles, and taking his little dog Dusti for walks and playing with her.  Donald enjoyed sports and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Donald is survived by three sons: John (Michelle) Novack of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, Ricky Novack of Wisconsin Rapids, and Steven (Lisa) Novack of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; two granddaughters, Amy (Chad) Genisot of Irma, Wisconsin, and Alesha (William) DeLong of Portland, Oregon; one step-grandson, Austin Horneke; great-grandchildren: Brady Genisot, Autumn Genisot, William DeLong, Jr., Donald Allen DeLong; one brother: Dave and Helen Novack; one sister: Marjorie and Ronald Maier; one brother in-law: Franklin “Hunce” Jacoby; one sister in-law: Kathryn Kiefer; and many nieces and nephews. 

Donald is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Margaret; one son: Gary Allen; grandson: Shannon; one brother: Elmer Novack and his sister Lelia Novack.
