Gow, Donald F. Sr.
Donald F. Gow, Sr, 68, passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of September 18 after complications from a long illness. A former United States Marine, Don served in the Baltimore City Fire Department for over 30 years. He was twice named Firefighter of the Year. Following his retirement from the department, Don was active for many years with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, an organization devoted to training and aiding emergency responders in dealing with PTSD and other stress-related issues. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie, his son Donald, Jr. and his daughter Jeannie Collier as well as a brother, James Gow and a sister Judith Scanlon. Cherished grandfather of Grace Collier and Emily Jozefik. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.
