Donald Eugene Iceman, Sr., “Di bizh goo gong” which means “He Who Catches Fish”, 80, of the Kingfisher Clan and Red Lake Minnesota began his journey to the spirit world on Sunday, May 26th 2019 from the Jourdain Perpich Nursing Home in Red Lake, MN. He was born in Red Lake, MN on August 10th, 1938 to Mary Black and Joseph Iceman.
Donald was an outdoorsman. He loved to trap, fish and set nets. Donald was always joking around with everyone. You could often find him walking, he walked everywhere. Donald enjoyed going to the casino and having company. He loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all his friends at Jourdain Perpich.
Family that welcome Donald to the spirit world are his parents; Mary Black and Joseph Iceman, brothers; Marvin Iceman, David and Richard Castenada, sisters; Cecelia and Priscilla Iceman, aunt; Susan Iceman, other relatives and friends.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his sons; Donald Iceman, Jr. of Minneapolis, Darren, Delmar and Raynard Iceman all of Fort Totten, ND, Brian Stillday, Sr. and Donald Stillday both of Duluth and Donovan Stillday of Carlton, daughters; Trudy Iceman of Fort Totten, ND, Donna and Lynette Stillday both of Roseau, Diane Stillday of Bemidji and Rebecca Stillday of Red Lake, brothers; Kenny, Roland, Darrell and Ervin Iceman, sisters; Carol Martin and Phyllis Iceman, numerous grandkids and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, several more family members and many friends.
