Donald R. Edwards (88) was unexpectedly called home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 9, 2022. He was born on October 12, 1933, in Ruth, North Carolina, son of the late Martin Luther and Ina Elizabeth Edwards. Don received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Florida State University in 1965 and was the first of three generations of Edwards to attend FSU.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dolores (Lori) Edwards; two children Martin Edwards (Sharon) of Potomac Falls, Virginia; Jody Edwards of Oldsmar, Florida; one granddaughter: Megan Boss (Joel) of Canton, Georgia; two great granddaughters: Addison (7) and Emily (5). He was preceded in death by his brother Daniel.
