Donald Edward Smuin passed away at his home in Clinton, UT with his family at his side on May 15, 2016.
He was born March 28, 1957 in Ogden, UT to Ralph Athay and Elaine Mary Anderson Smuin. He married Mary Lou Payne on November 5, 1977 in Elko, NV and to this union were born his 4 sons. They later divorced. He married Lynn Maiden on December 12, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV. She passed away January 25, 2005. He married Barbara Ann Higgs on May 22, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV and to this union he gained 5 step-children.
He attended Box Elder Schools and Box Elder High School. He has resided in Brigham City, UT, Ogden, UT, Congress, AZ and most recently in Clinton, UT. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Truck Driver for over 40 years.
Donald was a Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and was known to be an extremely loving, caring and thoughtful person.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara; children: Chad (Breeze), Josh (Cassie), Donald Jr. and Andrew (Ashley) Smuin; Step-Children: Nathan Dunn (Alison), Gerri Freideman (Jesse), Ben Dunn (Krystal), Landon Farmer (Meghan) and Adam Farmer; 24 grandchildren and a host of siblings, nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his Parents and Wife Lynn.
