Donald E. Stone, 79 of Marion, Indiana died on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Born Monday, March 18, 1935 in Marion, Indiana, he was the son of the late Charley Stone and the late Lenora Mary Stradley Stone. He married Marilyn Deeter on December 30, 1955. She survives.
Don attended Fairmount Schools and worked the family farm. He was also employed by RCA as a fork lift driver for 48 years retiring in 2001.
Don enjoyed working outside, gardening and mowing lawns for several churches and neighbors. He enjoyed collecting antique Farmall tractors and Franklin Mint Hamilton antique model cars as well as being a Cubs and Colts fan.
Surviving are son, Thomas Stone of Marion, IN, Grandson; Eric (Melissa) Stone, Jonesboro, IN Great-Grandchildren; Colleen, Daiton, and Dawson Stone, at home Sisters, Mary Pellegrene of Branson, MO, Marjorie (Clifford) Clyde of Frankfort, IN and Carolyn (Herrald) Saylor of Ashland, KY.
