Donald E. Fry Jr., 55, of Goshen, died at 5:25 a.m. Monday (Nov. 16, 2009) in the emergency room of Goshen General Hospital.
He was born Nov. 4, 1954, in Elkhart to Donald Edward Sr. and Ruby Ethel (Hein) Fry. He married Patricia A. Cassidy on Aug. 26, 1978, in Cromwell.
She survives along with one son, Chris R. (Katie) Fry of Bremen; one sister, Rebecca Humes of Chandler, Ariz.; and his mother of Elkhart.
One stepsister, Carol Michael, and his father preceded him in death.
Mr. Fry was a 1973 graduate of Elkhart High School. He worked as a welder at Earthway Products Inc. and had worked at Smoker Craft Inc. for 25 years. He was a member of Riverside Bible Church, where he had served in several capacities. He enjoyed volunteer work at his church and spending time with his family.
