Donald is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Anne Abdul; daughters, Donna (Randy) Stromski and Kathy (Joe) Carvalho; son, Brian (Becky) Abdul; sister, Leilani Zimmsman; as well as three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Donald came into the world on Christmas day in 1932 on Oahu, Hawaii. He worked as the circulation manager for the Hawaii Tribune Herald and retired as the maintenance supervisor for the State of Hawaii.
