Donald was born December 7, 1948 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Riley Reynolds Briggs and Helen Virginia Connor Briggs. Donald is described as a loving husband, devoted father and a strong advocate for the Autistic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, pool and wood working.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Donald is survived by his loving wife of over 48 years, Nancy Briggs; sons, James Briggs of Wayne; Robert Briggs of Toms river; Christopher Briggs of Robbinsville; grandchildren, Ryan Briggs and Joseph Briggs of Elmwood Park; Cassandra Briggs and Nicole Briggs both of Wayne; brother, Robert Briggs and his wife Barbara of Belle Meade;.
