Donald Duane Tipton, 81, of Ottawa, died on Saturday afternoon, April 8, 2017 at his home. Donald was born on December 24, 1935 in Streator, to Granvle and Ruth (Klehm) Tipton. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School class of 1955. Donald was a US Army veteran, and served during the Cold War.
He was a member of the Ottawa Moose Lodge. He is survived by a daughter, Darsi (Keith) Arwood, of Utica, 3 granddaughters, Ashton, Skylar, and McKennon, and a sister, Norma Glogowski, of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
