Donald “Donnie” A. Warren, Jr., 73, of Ashford, CT passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2022. He was born in Willimantic, CT, the son of Donald A. and Norma E. (LaCount) Warren, Sr.
Donnie was a graduate of E.O. High School where he played soccer and ran track. He held the 100-yard dash record for many years. Soccer was a huge part of his life, as a young adult he played for the Connecticut Wildcats and as he got older, he scheduled his day around watching soccer matches; especially for his favorite team, Manchester United. He worked for Milton C. Beebe for over 40 years which integrated another love of his, which were tractors and other heavy equipment machinery. Donnie was always looking for a new “toy”. Donald was also very interested in finding out about his ancestry and looking at genealogy.
Donald is survived by his sisters, Joanne Bowen and Joyce St. Lawrence and her husband Arthur “Artie”; nephews Scott St. Lawrence and Joshua St. Lawrence and his wife Amanda; great niece Harper St. Lawrence; and great nephew Hunter St. Lawrence. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother-in-law Robert “Bob” Bowen.
