Donald David “Dave” Bradley, Jr. age 65, of Lisbon, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at his home. He was born April 6, 1950, a son of the late Donald David Sr. and Jean Ardith (Flick) Bradley. Dave was a machinist for 30 years for the former E.W. Bliss Company of Salem, and he also worked as a machinist for R.G. Steel in Steubenville for 12 years before retiring in 2012. Dave was a 1968 graduate of Salem High School and was a member of the Salem First Christian Church and a life member of the Washingtonville V.F.W. Post 5532. Dave served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War from December 1969 to February 1973 and then served with the U.S. Air Force Reserves from1979 to 1982. Survivors include his wife, Ava Maye (Eaton) Bradley, whom he married August 7, 1971; two sons, Aaron W. (Melissa) Bradley of Diamond and Michael E. (Emily) Bradley of Hanoverton; a daughter, Valerie E. (Thomas) Kidder of Salem; two brothers, Daniel R. Bradley of Salem and Paul (Deanne) Bradley of Lisbon; and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Robert Bradley.
