Donald D. Sweet, Jr., 56, of East Peoria, IL passed away at 11:35 am on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at his residence. He was born on December 14, 1959 in Peoria, IL to Donald D. and Jean C. (Marfell) Sweet, Sr.
Surviving are his children Donald D. (Bobbie) Sweet III of Washington and Deanna (Gerry) Horton of East Peoria; grandchildren Alivia Sweet, Baylee Parrott, and Sophia Horton; siblings Debbie (James) Plemmons of Bayview Gardens, Larry Sweet of Lexington, IL, and Gary (Susan) Sweet of Washington; and many nieces and nephews.
Donald graduated from Metamora Township High School in 1978. He worked for Komatsu as an assembler for 28 years. He was an avid Cubs fan. He enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles, playing softball, bowling, and camping.
