Mr. Donald Douglas Gill, 84, of Rocky Mount., GA passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Piedmont Atlanta. He was born June 16, 1930 in Newnan, GA to the late Duell Gill & Annie Bell Callaway Gill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, D. Wayne Gill. He was a retired truck driver for Hibrand Frozen Food and served in the United States Marine Corps for six years. Survivors include wife, Jeanette Evans Gill; children, Eddie Gill, Brenda Shelnutt, and Joan England all of Rocky Mount.; grandchildren, Dale (Kristy) Shelnutt, Stacey Shelnutt, Ashley (Marshall) McCoy, Douglas (Lee Ann) Gill, Sharie Gill, and 15 great-grandchildren.
