Donald C. Potter, Sr., 66 of Elkton, MD, died Sunday, March 29, 2009 at home.
Born in Grundy, VA, on June 12, 1942, he was the son of the late Clarence and the late Marie Phillips Potter.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force and most recently worked for the State of Delaware.
He enjoyed baseball, bowling and golf.
Survivors include his children: Donald C. Potter, Jr. of Elkton, MD and Donna Delarosa of Kingsville, TX; 4 grandchildren: Reuben Naranjo, Jr., Julie Delarosa, Robert Potter and Caleb Potter; and 3 great grandchildren: Xander Orion Galvan, Lucius Madden-Lee Galvan and Tobias Ruben-Dario Hinojosa.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Robert William Potter.
Rev. Daniel Gedman will officiate.
