Donald A. Klepacki, 70, of New Britain, died peacefully on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2021 with his devoted wife by his side. He was the beloved husband of Laurel (Gustin) Klepacki for the past 46 years. Son of the late Anthony and Mary (Drezek) Klepacki, he was proud to have been born and raised in New Britain and lived there his entire life. He graduated from Pulaski High School and the University of Connecticut and was a lifelong owned and operated Laudon Associates, a real estate development company that built many award-winning communities throughout Central Connecticut and provided countless families a place to call home. He poured his heart and soul into his work and was greatly respected amongst his associates for his acumen, creativity, and most importantly his interests and talents were vast and varied. A longtime member of Shuttle Meadow Country Club, Don enjoyed playing golf with his friends, where his quick wit and spontaneous singing will be dearly missed. A passionate fisherman, he loved time spent on Long Island Sound on his boat with his friends and family, especially passing on his knowledge of angling and boating to the next generation.
