Donald A. Jesse, 74, of Princeton, formerly of LaSalle, died Friday morning, February 2, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Mr. Jesse was born April 13, 1932 in Utica to Adolf and Nellie Jesse. He owned and operated Jesse Burial Vault Company in Peru.
Later he was a supervisor at Ball Seed Company in Geneva, then, worked at Jostens in Princeton. He was an Army Veteran of Korea and was awarded three bronze stars. He married Doris L. Wagner in 1966 in Tennessee. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Geneva, the LaSalle Peru Elks Lodge, the Peru Eagles Club and the LaSalle VFW. He is survived by his wife, of Princeton; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Darlene, Doris and Rosella and one brother Alvin.
