Donald A. Davis, 61, passed away unexpectedly May 8, 2012 in Canon City, CO. He was born October 31, 1950 in Canon City to Donald and Shirley (Aldridge) Davis. Don was a lifetime rancher and was a Colorado Department of Corrections employee for the last 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and weekend horse rides. Most of all Don enjoyed playing with his grandkids. Mr. Davis is survived by his mother, Shirley Furphy; wife, Michel Davis; his children, Mendi Robirds and her husband Jeff and their children Austin and Ceri, Brannon Davis and his wife Kendra and their children Jordan, Breeyn, Sadie, Dakota, Travis, Keith, and Blayke, Robin Dewitt and her husband Brad and their son Cooper, Gennetta Hamilton and her husband Josh and their children Sarah and Joseph, Ashley Davis, and Michael Davis; his brother, Dale Davis and his wife Debbie and their daughters Jessica and Lindsey; along with numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald A. Davis, Sr.
