Dona Conlan, 67, of Kansas City, MO., born October 9, 1939 in Kansas City, MO., died Monday, September 10, 2007 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO, with her family by her side. Dona was a devoted mother, loving sister, and a wonderful friend to many. She enjoyed her 17 years at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida before retiring to Kansas City in 2004. She also enjoyed traveling to see family in O’Fallon, Ill and Santa Cruz, CA. Dona was preceded in death by her parents James L. & Gladys M., nee Rush, Miller and a brother Terrence Lee Miller, all of Kansas City, MO.
Surviving are her son and his wife Robert & Carrie Cagle, her grandson Colton Cagle, all of Santa Cruz, CA., a sister JoAnne Bird and her partner Michael Shepherdson of O’Fallon, Ill., who cared for her in their home for the last 3 months and to whom she was eternally grateful, along with nieces and their families and many friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
