Don W. Humphrey, age 94, of Sebring, formerly of McCann Road, Kensington, died peacefully at 11 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Crandall Medical Center. He was born July 9, 1919 in Adair, Ohio, son of the late William Kepner and Rose Emma (Loudon) Humphrey. His early education was at Hornet’s Nest School in Adair before graduating in 1937 from Augusta High School. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1941 to 1945 with the 254th Signal Construction Company in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, Hawaii, Saipan and Guam. He retired from the U.S.
