Born to the late Sarah and Albert Ellis of Farmville, NC, he leaves to mourn his wife of 35 years Daphne Ellis, two sons Brandon Ellis (Aleisha), Derrick Suggs (Tina), five grandchildren, Amber,Michael Jr., Arin,Kaya and Connor; his brother Larry Ellis (Charlene), one niece Kenna (Marcus), grand niece Lauryn and other relatives and friends.
Don was a loyal employer as a CEO Scout Executive for The Boy Scouts of America for 35 years. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity since 1984.
