Hampton, Don, 90, of Mitchell, Georgia, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 in an area hospital. Mr. Hampton was born in Chattanooga but had lived in Mitchell, Georgia for the past 9 years. Survivors include his wife, Rema E. Hampton, Mitchell; two sons, Douglas P. Hampton and Dave Hampton, both of Decatur, TN; daughter, Donna Smith, Mitchell; five grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
