Donald Elmer Bird, Sr., 76, of Chattanooga, was called home to the Lord and relieved from the suffering of Alzheimer’s Disease on February 5, 2011. Don was the son of the late Elmer and Aline Bird of Chattanooga. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. As a lifelong resident of the area he was well known for his outgoing personality, humor and generous spirit.
