Mr. Donald “Don” Bennett, age 76, of West Point, GA. passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA.
Mr. Bennett was born on September 7, 1938 in Randolph County, Alabama to the late, Reid and Ava Bennett.
He was a member of Old Pathway Baptist Church in LaGrange, GA.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry C. Bennett; daughters, Donna Keziah, Christie Bennett; son, David Bennett; grandchildren, Donny Poole, Mitch Poole, Jeremy Cardwell; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Al (Opal) Bennett, Rayford Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Bennett.
Don was retired from Atlas Roofing Company in LaGrange after 25 years of service. He was a bird hunting guide at the Big Red Oak Plantation in Gay, GA.
