Don Quentin Beck was called home by the Lord that he loved on Friday, June 14, 2024. He was 92 years old.Don was born in Sauk Center, Minnesota, the oldest of two children born to Quentin Beck and Lois (Miller) Thompson. He married Grace Jones on June 17, 1950 and together raised their family in Lansing.Don was well-known and admired for his intelligence, determination, and strength. He was a figure of stoicism, consistently exhibiting resilience in the face of lifes challenges. Don was the proud owner of a local print shop and a passionate photographer, which began in his teen years. He loved his work and was equally passionate about the stock market. He was an active lifelong member of the boy scouts and enjoyed serving and helping others. Don was a strong supporter of the churches he attended and traveled to other countries as a missionary. Together with Grace, they assisted in supporting an orphanage in Guatemala where they provided housing, furniture, appliances, clothing and more to the local orphaned children. Don will be forever remembered for his unwavering loyalty, his extreme generosity and his stoic nature.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 73 years, Grace Beck; his grandson, Casey Beck; daughter, Nanci Jodway; infant granddaughters, Scottie Beck and Kristina Jodway and brother, Ray D. Beck.He is survived by children, Michael (Charisse) Beck, Larry (Marti) Beck, Cindi (Jack) Brown; five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; siblings, Sharon (Marvin Peterson) Beck, Brian (Helen Riddle) Beck, Phyllis (Lester Packard) Beck, Laurel (William Connelly) Beck, as well as extended family members and dear friends.
