Don Albert Holland, 68, of Poway, CA passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2007. He was born in Farmersville, Louisiana and was raised in Alamogordo, NM. Don worked in the Technical field for over 30 years and also served his country in the US Army. Affectionately known as “Uncle Don” to family and friends, he enjoyed fishing, cooking and restoring old automobiles.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Holland and daughter, Kay-ci Dawn Holland at the family home, in addition to 7 other adult children and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial: 11 am Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 14211 Twin Peaks Rd, Poway, CA 92064.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, August 4, 2007 at New Zion Baptist church, located at 308 Maryland Ave, Alamogordo, NM 88310.
