Dominique Skye Parks was born September 9, 1990 in Houston, Texas to Jack Bannister Parks Jr. and Vicky Jones-Parks. She went home with her Lord on Wednesday, November 07, 2012 in Decatur, Alabama.
Dominique confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Victory Temple Church in Fort Worth, Texas where she was active in the Youth Ministry; along with becoming a volunteer in Victory Temple’s Women & Children’s Home where she aided to the care of families in need. Dominique had such a maternal instinct for the children, family and friends in her life and acted, as a mother figure to her loved ones.
She loved and had an eye for abstract things. Expressing her creative personality through fashion, Dominique knew what she wanted to do at an early age and fashion was calling her name. She started persuing her dreams, becoming a student at the Dallas Art Institute in Dallas Texas where she studied Fashion Merchandising. Afterwards she planned to further her studies by attending the New York Art Institute.
Dominique left an enormous footprint on this world and on the hearts of those she deeply cared for. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her parents, Jack Parks Jr. of Arlington, TX, Vicky Jones-Parks of Decatur; her grandparents George Jones Sr.
