Ms Dominique Laquice Shampaigne Herron (aka Nina) Unexpectedly departed this life on Sept 6, 2020.
Dominique with that beautiful smile, funny jokes and unique personality absolutely loved her family, kids and friends. Dominique graduated Riley high school with high honors. She loved to dance since she was very young and also danced on the dance team for clay high school. Her love for hair became a business for her styling hair for both young and old at high demand. Her many talents will be dearly missed.
Nina leaves to cherish her memory her mother Keitra Davis, a sister she absolutely adored Davaesha Vaughn, two brothers she considered her own Dazion Presswood, and Dayqwaun Hatcher. One niece Za’Riyah Laquice, Maternal aunts Shawnae Davis Indianapolis, Devin Davis and Patrice Davis of South Bend. Kim Powell of Goshen. Three uncles Michael Rogers Indianapolis, Chad Powell of Goshen and Keith Davis Jr South Bend. Maternal grandfather Keith(Dorene) Davis, Paternal aunts and uncles Dowanna (Paul) Herron of Omaha, Nebraska, Jimeka (Chris) Langon of South Bend, Jennell (Jermaine )Mathews of Indianapolis, James Holloway of Grand Prairie, Texas, Kazi (Jessica) McMorris Minneapolis, Minnesota, Steven (Quinetta) McMorris Omaha, Nebraska. Paternal grandmother Assata Damani of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Paternal Grandfather Jimmie (Darlene) Herron of South Bend. Special dads Robert Willis Dallas ,Texas , Larry Presswood of South Bend. 5 Special Children Dimaya Lyons, Demarian Lyons, Dinlya Weeks, Dailia Weeks, Diquan Weeks. 3 special cousins Arthur Booker Jr, Dontrell Saunders, and Seqouiyah Malone. Special friends Sentail Holt, Indiah Davidovic, Khaylia Moniquee Dominique Williams Latoya Lyons, Aaliyah Booker (aka Moo Moo), and Sabrina Johnson along with a host of special relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
Nina was preceded in death by Her father Jimmie (Ato) Herron, Paternal Grandfather Steve McMorris, Maternal grandmother Doris Jean Hurmon, Great Grandmother’s Martha Fultz , Willa K. Lottie ,Pearl Hurmon ,Susie Vann . Great grandfather’s Archie Agnew, Booker Vann, and Lucious Hudson. Aunts Cheryl Hudson and Pauline Bonds . Cousins Dominique Hurmon ,Doniesha Jones ,Tysiona Crawford, and Tajuanna Norris.
The family would like to thank everyone that not only loved Dominique but also reached out to support the family at such a tragic time God bless.
