Dominick C. Scalzo, 96, of Whiting, Manchester Twp., NJ passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at AristaCare at Manchester. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Waldwick, NJ then Englishtown, NJ before moving to Whiting over 30 years ago. Dominick was a Truck Driver for Grand Union in Carlstadt, NJ for over 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local 560. He was a US Army WWII Veteran. Dominick was predeceased by his wife, Andrea, in 2006 and his daughter in law, Madeline, in 2014.
He is survived by his 4 children and their spouses, Patrick & Donna Scalzo of Lakewood, NJ, Andrew Scalzo of Port Monmouth, NJ, Frank & Valerie Scalzo of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Audrey & Charlie Marshen of North Carolina, 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Stacey & Salvatore DiMarco, Suzette & Douglas Scott, Casondra & Earl Mill, Frank & Christina Marshen, Bryan & Irene Scalzo and Jason & Kimberly Scalzo, and 13 great grandchildren.
