Dominic J. Mongillo Jr., 48, of Warwick St., New Haven passed away Sept. 2, 2016 in Yale New Haven Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in New Haven on Dec. 28, 1967, he was the son of Dominic Mongillo of East Haven and the late Caroline Biagioli Mongillo. He was formerly employed by Branford Mobil. Besides his father, he is survived by three brothers, Joseph (Leona Nichols) Mongillo of New Haven, Christopher Levix of West Haven and John Varricchio; a sister, Cheryl Levix of New Haven; a cousin, Richard Fry of East Haven; two nephews, Lewis Levix and Joshua Boria; a niece, Caroline Levix; his best friends, Princess and Rose; and Jennifer Lynn, who will always cherish his memory.
