Dominic “Dom” Ciabotti died on November 12, 2015. He was a longtime resident of Woodbine Developmental Center in Woodbine, NJ. He was born in Philadelphia on December 8, 1936.
He later moved to Atlantic City and eventually to Woodbine where he had lived for the past twenty years. Dom loved Elvis Presley and the Philadelphia Eagles. He also enjoyed walking around and socializing with the people in Woodbine and driving to North Jersey to visit a friend. He tried to retire from work a few years ago but it didn’t take so he started working again and continued to the end. Dom was quick to smile and laugh with his friends. He once said, “I lived a hard life, but found a home at Woodbine.”
Dominic is survived by his good friend Craig Periera and the many staff and friends at Woodbine whose lives he so greatly touched. He will live on through our memories.
